With 16 medical practices within our network, Ausdocs Group is always on the lookout for Practice Nurses to join our team. With locations currently spanning across Queensland and more opportunities on the way, we're open to receiving Expressions of Interest anytime of the year.

Typical Practice Nurse Responsibilities:

Patient triaging
Immunisations - COVID, Shingles, Flu, Baby etc.
Wound care / dressings, ECG's, spirometry etc.
Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments
Assisting with minor procedures
Patient recall and reminder system
Infection control and sterilisation, Cold chain management, Stock control and ordering (as required)
General treatment room duties and management of the treatment room

About you

You'll typically be an experienced Practice Nurse (Enrolled or Registered Nurse) that can work autonomously and efficiently with others. You are motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy being a part of a fun and dynamic team.

Skills & Experience:

AHPRA registered EN or RN (no restrictions)
Minimum 12 months experience in a medical practice location (preferred)
Experience with Best Practice software (preferred but not essential)
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Caring and collaborative approach to patient care
Reliable and punctual

Part-time or casual hourly rates will be in accordance with Fair Work covered under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (Modern Award) dependent on level of experience.
