What We're Looking For
This is a newly created, hands-on role for someone in the early stages of their business management career who is looking for a practical opportunity to learn, contribute and take on a new challenge within a growing healthcare group.
This is not a desk-based planning role; it suits someone proactive, who enjoys being involved in the detail, following tasks through, helping solve practical problems and working with people to make improvements happen.
The role requires someone who is organised, curious and willing to get involved. You may have started your career in business management, operations, administration, health management or a similar field and are now looking for a role where you can build practical experience across projects, systems, communication and implementation.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Area Managers and practice teams, the successful applicant will:
- Help coordinate and support projects that improve patient experience
- Strengthen day-to-day practice operations
- Assist Ausdocs Group to implement new ideas across its network
- Communicate change in a clear and practical way. - the Business Projects Support Coordinator will work with doctors, practice managers, nurses, administrative teams, alliance partners and leadership to help explain new initiatives, gather feedback, document issues and support teams as projects are introduced into the practices
- The role will involve supporting the design and documentation of workflows
- Coordinating meetings and actions
- Assisting with pilot programs, tracking progress
- Preparing simple reports and helping practices adopt new systems, services and processes
- Working alongside the marketing team, you may also assist with patient communication materials, internal updates and launch activities for new programs.
This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable learning on the job and wants to develop their business and project skills in a supportive, fast-moving healthcare environment.
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will have:

- Exceptional communication skills and confidence working with different people;
- Sound time management and the ability to manage competing priorities;
- Attention to detail; and
- A practical, service-focused approach and willingness to learn.
Prior Experience
The following experience would be helpful but is not essential:
- Some exposure to healthcare, general practice or a service-based business environment
- Experience with Best Practice Practice Management Software
- Experience with Cubiko practice software
- Some experience supporting projects, process improvement or business administration activities
- Good communication, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work across several tasks while asking for guidance when needed.
- Interest in multi-site practice networks, healthcare operations or business improvement.
- Confidence using common business systems and willingness to learn new software.
