Medical Receptionist

Your responsibilities:
- Front desk management including all administration duties
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making, and confirming appointments; checking, processing, and managing customer accounts; and assisting callers with general enquiries
- Maintenance of the Best Practice patient database
- Processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
- General housekeeping and upkeep of reception area and Doctors consulting rooms
About you
You are an experienced Receptionist that can work autonomously and efficiently. You are motivated and enthusiastic, and enjoy being a part of a fun and dynamic team.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist (required)
- Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)
- Familiar with processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billings
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
What Can We Offer You?
Casual / Part-time hourly rate to be in accordance with Fair Work covered under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (Modern Award) dependent on your level of experience. Additionally, we are able to provide flexibility on working hours and days, with consideration to school hours as well (if needed).
