Practice Nurse

Highgate Hill Doctors is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity (38 hours a week negotiable). If you have general practice experience, with current registration with AHPRA, then we’d love to speak with you.
We offer a supportive team-based environment, with training opportunities and awesome team dynamics, in a family orientated Practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Chronic Disease Management
- Adult and Paediatric vaccinations, AIR
- Ear syringing, Wound Care and Minor Procedures
- ECG's and Spiros
- Employment Medicals
- Recalls
- Accreditation Adherence
- Sterilisation of Instruments
- Maintaining cold chain management systems + Ordering supplies and Vaccine Stock
Skills and Experience:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with medical software
- Ability to work closely with GP's, Allied Health, Specialists and Practice staff
- Professional presentation
Additional Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Previous Accreditation
- Knowledge of Best Practice + MBS item billing codes
- Experience in Staff & GP Registrar education
